C Teleport: ‘We Aim to Empower 1 Billion Business Travelers’

Founded in 2017 by Dmitrii Beliakov, C Teleport aims to simplify travel management for large enterprises, enabling straightforward booking, modifying, and canceling of trips. Headquartered in Rotterdam, the company has expanded its reach globally following multiple investment rounds.
C Teleport now caters to a diverse clientele, serving over 300 companies worldwide, and is supported by a team comprising 22 different nationalities. The company is committed to leveraging technology to make travel management more flexible and adaptable, responding to the evolving needs of businesses across the globe. We spoke to founder Dmitrii Beliakov about why his company stands out from its competitors.
Before C Teleport, we couldn’t understand why changing your flight was so difficult – we thought that surely there must be a more flexible approach. The process was incredibly time-consuming, often manual, and not at all transparent. Identifying a gap in the market, we built a company to assist business travelers in easily planning and adjusting their travel. With C Teleport, we ensure complete transparency and facilitate instant changes.
Initially we assumed there must be APIs that allow ticket changes. However, we soon realized the entire business travel market was struggling with this issue due to a lack of automation. Our solution was to use machine learning models, but that was not an easy fix: It required months of research and development, including data collection, markup, and training models. This was such a big challenge it nearly led to our business closing. However, we overcame it, and now we own a unique technology that’s in high demand.
We are the only company in the world that does the following two things:
Our competitors are either offline travel agents, who are slow and cost inefficient, or online travel agents, who don’t have the capacity to change and cancel flights.
We are on a mission to enable 1 billion business travelers to plan and re-plan their trips. To achieve this, we aim to maintain rapid growth while staying profitable, which is an interesting challenge.
I wanted to meet other scaleups and learn more about their current challenges and share thoughts on how to grow more rapidly. We face similar problems – sharing our experiences helps us solve these problems faster.
