Techleap bedankt Maurice van Tilburg voor 4 jaar toewijding en inzet voor het start- en scale-up ecosysteem van Nederland

Amsterdam, 30 juni 2023 ─ Na bijna vier jaar bij Techleap draagt Maurice van Tilburg zijn rol als managing director binnenkort over. Techleap is dankbaar voor alles wat Maurice voor de organisatie en de techsector heeft gerealiseerd.

Het Techleap team bereikte onder leiding van Maurice indrukwekkende mijlpalen. Waaronder de implementatie van de COL-regeling, het opzetten van BOLD, een gemeenschap van scale-up founders, en de lancering van het Pole Position initiatief. Ook de totstandkoming van Dealterms, het Diverse Leaders in Tech programma, de jaarlijkse State of Dutch Tech en het naar Nederland halen van het Nato Innovatiefonds zijn enkele mijlpalen.

Maurice start per 15 september als directeur van de directie Nationaal Groeifonds bij het Ministerie van Economische Zaken en Klimaat.

Amsterdam, June 30, 2023 ─ After nearly four years at Techleap, Maurice van Tilburg will soon be handing over his role as Managing Director. Techleap is grateful for everything Maurice has achieved for the organization and the tech sector.

Under Maurice’s leadership, the Techleap team achieved impressive milestones, including the implementation of the COL-regulation, the establishment of BOLD, a community of scale-up founders, and the launch of the Pole Position initiative. Other milestones include the establishment of Dealterms, the Diverse Leaders in Tech program, the annual State of Dutch Tech, and bringing the NATO Innovation Fund to the Netherlands.

Starting from September 15, Maurice will take up the role of Director of the National Growth Fund at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate.

“Maurice’s contribution and leadership have been indispensable for the success of Techleap, where his experience with software development and his role as CEO of Euronext were very valuable,” says Constantijn van Oranje, Special Envoy of Techleap. “Over the past few years, Maurice has built a strong organization with a sharp focus. This has given Techleap all the resources to further grow the Dutch tech ecosystem.”
